3 medium-sized lemons

1 package of cream

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Zest of 1 lemon

1 package vanilla powder

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Lemons: Cut the lemons in half vertically. Carefully scoop out the insides using a spoon. Chop the scooped-out lemon pulp into small cubes.
  2. Extract Juice: Place the chopped lemon pulp on a fine-mesh strainer. Using a spoon, press the pulp to extract all the juice into a bowl. Set the juice aside.
  3. Create the Mixture: In a saucepan, add the granulated sugar and lemon zest. Lightly press the mixture with a spoon to release the aromas.
  4. Cook: Add the cream and vanilla powder to the saucepan and continue to stir. When the mixture begins to bubble at the edges, add the reserved lemon juice.
  5. Thicken: As soon as the mixture starts to boil, immediately remove it from the heat. Be careful not to overcook it.
  6. Chill: Fill the hollowed-out lemon peels with the creamy mixture. Place them in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours until they are firm.
