Turkish Style Village Bread :

Delicious flavour from the fire

This bread is made with yeast in rural areas of Turkey. A yeast bread dough
prepared and rolled out thinly and used for baking special bread on the fire called “sac”
It is cooked on copper. Since ember fire is used while baking bread, some vegetables are thrown on the embers.
a salad is prepared with these vegetables such as aubergines, peppers and tomatoes in olive oil and served with hot baked bread
eaten. Turkish tea or Turkish ayran is usually preferred with it. This dish is very popular among nomads in Turkey.

You can keep it in the fridge, just take it out and heat it a little in the oven. To make this delicious recipe
just follow the steps below correctly.

Ingredients:

Half fresh yeast (21 g)
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups (warm) milk i.e. 400ml
5 cups of flour should be a very soft dough
1,5 teaspoon salt
3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil (to collect the dough)

Glass measurement 200ml🥛

Preparation :

1. Mix milk, yeast and sugar in a kneading bowl
2. After the yeast dissolves, add the salt and mix again
3. Add flour and knead, close the lid and let it ferment for 1 hour
4. After the fermentation process is complete, flour the worktop and divide the dough into 8 equal parts
5. Then cover and let the meringues rest for 15 minutes
6. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to the size of your pan without making it too thin
7. Put the rolled out dough on the heated pan and cook by turning frequently
8. Do not overcook, if you overcook the bread will dry out
9. After baking, place the bread between a clean cloth and cover
10. Spread hot hot butter and enjoy your meal.

Service and presentation:

1. You can consume plain with butter
2. You can consume with cheese and tomatoes
3. You can make your sandwiches
4. You can serve with warm salad
